iTweezers is a multi-touch interface to Holographic Optical Tweezers (HOT), which uses laser beams to manipulate microscopic particles. The multi-touch screen of the iPad or iPod allows multiple particles to be controlled at once, by dragging around traps on top of a video image.
The app connects either to our PC software, "Red Tweezers" or to an internal simulation of glass beads in water.
